This last weekend I had the pleasure of teaching with some great martial artists in Kansas City. Hock Hochheim has been a great supporter of our group and I owe him a lot. Here's a quick review of the 3 day seminar:
Hoch Had some great warmup drills and taught some very practical gun disarms.
Jim McCann shared stuff from his 2 new DVDs on ground and pound. As usual Jim had some great stuff.
Marc Halleck some very practical Filipino Martial art techniques
Nick Hughes who is a former French Foreign Legion MP, Bodyguard, and bouncer in some of the toughest clubs in the UK taught both how to recognize and if possible to avoid conflict. But in case you can't he had some great drills to get the proper mindset when the shit hits the fan.
I taught some basic JKD stuff like getting power in your punch and broken rhythm. Milldog from Sacramento wanted some "nasty Bert Poe stuff" so I shared some of what Bert taught me. Milldog acted as Hoch, McCann's and my assistant. So thanks for the help, Keith!
