Thanks! I haven't seen the book yet. It is mostly composed of articles I did for Budo magazine in Spain. They weren't published in English. I shot the photos for it this Dec in Madrid. Most of the photos just illustrate the points I made in the articles. The book is published in English, French, Spanish, German, and Italian. The photos are all in color. I also did 2 DVD's while there. The 1st one should be out soon.

Well, I just finished reading Tim Tackett's new book from BUDO International, "Jeet Kune Do", and I must say that it is an excellent book! It covers a few things that have been left out of most Jeet Kune Do books, and is an excellent overview of what Jeet Kune Do is really all about! It is a quality full color publication, and well worth the price tag of $29.95! It will be required reading for all of my personal students! All I can say is GET IT NOW! :)

Thanks! The chapter on "What Have You Mastered?" was written over 10 years ago for "Inside Kung Fu" but it was never published.

Great job! Some fantastic pictures in there, some of the best shots of you I have ever seen.
Still don't no about this toe arch bs though, doesn't make any difference to me.

I agree. It's no big deal, but people go on and on about it so I thought I would show both ways.

I think the pictures make me look old. I know I am but I don't like to look at me. I have never seen the DVDs I did.

The is a really good book that everyone who trains JKD needs to own. An excellent supplement to the DVD series (can't wait for the next). Hope to see you this spring/summer w/ Jim McCann in NJ.
By the way, what are the 3 chinese characters in your book stand for.

I have the book, so I can answer your question. Those are the characters for "Jeet Kune Do".
