Learn Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do which is a devastating combination of speed, power and deception. There are no “Sport” aspects no "Set Patterns nor Forms". JKD is based on Simplicity, Economy of Motion and Intercepting Emotional Intent.

“I thought I knew JKD until I trained with Tackett.” Without a doubt Tim has an incredible breath of knowledge on Jeet Kune Do like no other. He has the ability to use it and to communicate it to you in a way that will certainly make you a better fighter.

Sifu Tackett does seminars around the world. He has been an innovator in applying JKD principles to football and has worked with both the Dallas Cowboys and the San Francisco 49ers. Tackett is the author of two books on Hsing-I Kung Fu and is co-author with Larry Hartsell of Jeet Kune Do-Entering to Trapping to Grappling, and Jeet Kune Do-Counterattack, Grappling Counters and Reversals (Vol.2.) Tim and Chris Kent are co-authors of Jeet Kune Do Kickboxing. Tim Tackett is currently a member of the Jeet Kune Do Nucleus Group.

Along with Tim Tackett we will have Dean Goldade teaching Hawaiian Kenpo / Jujitsu which is a modern expression of Kajukenbo. In addition to the base arts of Kajukenbo he incorporate a heavy influence of weapons material from the Filipino martial arts, as well as a deeper study of Ju-Jitsu, Submission Wrestling / Freestyle MMA and Combatives. He has seamlessly blended these methods to develop a very practical and effective method of combat. Hawaiian Kenpo / Jujitsu is truly combat based “Mixed Martial Arts”.

Last but not least we have Keith Miller teaching Close Quarters Combat, or CQC, which can be used to describe an up-close military hand-to-hand fighting system, also known as combatives. It is also a term used for fighting an enemy at close range while armed.

Close Quarters Combat teaches a person to use any part of their body as a weapon in any environment and how to use any modern day weapon as a tool of self defense. Weapon systems used include improvised knives, batons, firearms etc.
