This weekend was probably are best camp yet. We had a lot of students. We did a lot of training in 3 days.
Richie Carrion taught ground fighting in the ring and then for the street + some great stand up drills.
We missed Jim McCann who became sick and couldn't fly there. I will be seeing him the 1st weekend in Nov in Chicago with Hoch Hochheim.
Vince Raimondi worked on footwork and power punching
Pat Cunningham taught great kicking drills
Carl Lewis from Wales worked on some hard core conditioning
Pat Finley worked with us on training drills.
Joe Singleton (who is a Vietnam vet and in a wheel chair) worked with us on teaching disabled students. Joe is also a USA weight lifting champion
Kwoklyn Wan had us work on special drills for the straight lead
Keith Miller taught chain punching drills
Shawn King taught the jam
Bryan Stevenson did trapping
Hans from Belgium did body toughing exercises
Hock had us doing knife defenses. He did a great job
And I taught a few things
Great camp! Thanks for Bryan for hosting it.
Next year we will be in New Jersey and our special guest will be a 7th degree Japanese Jiu Jitsu expert who will show us pressure points for combat.

I would like to thank everyone that shared this year. Everyone motivates me to improve in all areas, whether its emulating Vinces footwork, Richie's grappling, or all the european guys toughness (or craziness) depending on your viewpoint. Its always good to see old friends and to meet new ones. I got to hang out and talk with alot of cool people and I won't try listing you all for fear of missing a name or misspelling it, but you all know who you are. Whether it was during training, eating, or going out at night I had a blast. It's also good to know I'm not the worst influence in the group anymore. But I may try and regain my title when we return to Las Vegas someday. :D I look forward to next year, but hope to see some of you before then.

It was a great honor & privilege to be welcomed with open arms into the WNG Camp this year.
Sifu Tim Tackett has done an outstanding job in creating the WNG "family" of Elite JKD'ers from around the globe. No egos, just the sharing of skills to preserve Bruce Lee's teachings, develop our own JKD and keep the JKD Spirit Alive!!!
We "worked hard, played hard, and laughed loud!". A big thanks to EVERYONE once again for making this trip AWESOME!!!

To My Friend, Mentor, and Teacher Sifu Tim Tackett
Now that I have the time to refllect upon the most spiritual and emotional time that I have experienced at the WNG Camp In Missouri. Your dedication and commitment in producing a group of individuals hat you called FAMILY in the dicipline of JKD is something I took into my heart. Like in all families we have older siblings and those siblings we embraceed and protect. The knowledge you have disseminated to your students has produced a tree of knowledge that is more rooted than any others who profess to know the dicipline called JKD.
I have seen in my travel of twenty years those who represents their teacher. Yet, I can honestly say that with clear dedication in trainimng and physical conditioning; Sifu your message has been spread from coast to coast and to other continents and thererefore, I have to say that your students shows a tremendous skills and physical conditioning that need to be praise and acknowledge as a true sign of the love your students have for you. I want to take this time to say thank you to so many individuals at the camp who have reached out their hands, their hearts, and their acceptance ito me nto the WNG. Howevere, when you meet individuals like Sifu Richie with his knowledge of reality on the ground attach and dself defense made me a jealous fan who wished he could have participated but I was honor to watch from the shores....he will be one person I will never forget. Another, individual whom I admire from afar was the excellent dancer Sifu Vince! This great teacher knows what it means to use your feet....this is my vision of dancing...this man can dance!!!! What can we say when Europe invades us! Who needs peace treaties when we have these distinquishgentlemen. They brought a serious view of JKD that makes me wonder if they have split personalities! They are so non-threatening until you see them in action....wow. So direct, and so explosive and just so damn good....
I finally got to meet a legend fighter known as HOCK. A man with tremendous skills and pratical knowledge with a weapon that makes you under his experience as a civil servant should be appreciated and respected. The camp could not have been a success if we did not have such a gracious host in Sifu Bryan....I wished I could have spent more time with him but my time with his student Stevens has given me a deeper respect for Sifu Bryan because like my teacher Sifu Pat he has stepped up to the challenge to help express JKD with a student with a disability. This is a man who does not believe in boundary and all I can do is to say it here how much I respect and appreciate that we have such an individual in our familly...that is why WNG is so special. I have to say with joy and excitement to Sifu Richie and to his god-daughter Alicia CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! Wow our first female instructor who has the grace and beauty as well as the skills to put you in your place if you step out of line.....Ok, I hear my teacher say stop this stream of consciousness and end this .....Again, let me say to all if you ever want me or need me for any seminar ...I can promise you I can get you TWO (Sifu Pat and I) for the price of ONE.
In conclusion, I love you Sifu Tim and saying thank you seems so little for what you have brought into my life. Take care all I cannot wait see you all again...God Bless. Peace
