Hans De Burchgraeve came up with this code of ethics for our group. What do you think?

Code of Ethics

Goals

To maintain the integrity of the art of Jeet Kune Do as taught, practiced, and recorded by its founder, Bruce Lee, and to preserve and perpetuate the art.

To give the public a clear and accurate picture of both the art and science of Jeet Kune Do, as well as its founder, Bruce Lee, based upon both his original martial arts training, notes and the personel experiences of his original students.

To serve as a living repository of all of the various aspects of Jeet Kune Do, including physical/technical training, historical foundation, philosophical/mental/spiritual learning, and scientific basis.

To maintain high standards of quality with regards to the dissemination of information concerning the art and its founder through all forms of media.

To function as an educational and inspirational organization, wich helps individuals achieve personal excellence in Jeet Kune Do.

To give recognition to legitimate instructors and practitioners of Jeet Kune Do.

Code of Ethics

We are united in the common goals of perpetuating the teachings of the founder, Bruce Lee, and promoting unity among instructors, practioners and general members.
All members agree to abide by the following code of ethics.

To always respect and protect the name and image of the founder of Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do, Bruce Lee, and the art that he developed.

For mutual respect for each member, and to refrain from expressing any negative comments about a fellow member and members of the group.
Any problem shall be adressed in private and will not be disclosed via a public forum, email or any other communication.

To share philosophical insights and technical knowledge, freely with each other, in order to further enhance each personís efficiency in the art.

To be responsible for the actions of your assistants, and employees.
To enforce a Code of Ethics that includes the guidelines set forth in this document.

To have respect for any other discipline; a member may be involved in outside of Jeet Kune Do. In other words, if a member studies an other martial art, their ability should be highly regarded, although any other discipline should not be referred as Jeet Kune Do.

I think they are a sound set of ethics for any JKD/Martial Arts Group.
If only everybody could abide by them.

I think its great. But like Lee said, if only everybody would follow it. We are all martial artist here. It dosn't matter what style we have studied, I know that they all have a code of respect/ethics of some kind.
