Elizabeth “The Razor” Keller
Dominates her opponent in the Road to London All Female boxing show this past Saturday Night in Trenton NJ.
Round 1
The Razor came out swinging landing a series of jab/crosses quickly establishing her range and the tempo of the fight. Her opponent took the shots well and by the end of the first round had switched leads throwing some wild punches which caught Elizabeth on her heals.
Round 2
The Razor came out again focusing on the straight lead which was flawlessly executed followed seamlessly by the straight rear, these punches landing cleanly and with lots of power. The Razor continued to change angles and the range constantly never allowing her opponent to set the cross hairs on her. When her opponent did get inside the fighting measure the Razor level changed viciously attacking the body which opened up the head for more clean blows.
Round 3
The Razor knowing her opponent could not keep the pace she had established continued her relentless attack landing countless straight rears cleanly on the chin of the opponent. With each blow you could hear the crowd roar with excitement.
Decision - The Razor
My View:
We are constantly working footwork moving in and out of range. We focus on the Fighting Measure.
Rule #1 about the measure. No one gets in for free.
The Razor has been dealing with some shoulder problems so as a result we have working on the straight rear and cross, working the timing and the execution of the technique etc. The end result the footwork combined with the straight rear one the fight. In reality she won with one arm.
Great job.
